For Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2016, Bobbi’s elite team of makeup artists created stunning looks for six bridal shows, including Carolina Herrera, Reem Acra and Marchesa. The beauty looks ranged from traditional flushed cheeks and pouts, to beyond basic bright, standout eyes. One consistent look across all shows was that of naturally flawless, perfect Bobbi skin.
CAROLINA HERRERA
FLUSHED POUT
To complement the gorgeous collection, the makeup look is soft, pretty and feminine, with a pop of pink on lips. To create this delicate lip look, first prep lips using a balm to add moisture. Then apply a soft pop of pink lip color directly onto lips, beginning at the corner of the mouth and over the entire lip area. For more precision, apply with a lip brush. Next, add a hint of shine with a crystal or clear lip gloss. And for the most natural-looking definition, line lips after applying lipstick or gloss.
REEM ACRA
BRONZY EYES
To complement the ultra-feminine collection, the makeup is soft and romantic, with a focus on the eyes. To create this bronzy twist on a classic smokey eye, sweep a taupe eye shadow all over lid, from lash line to the crease. Layer a bronzy shadow on the lower lid, blending into the crease.. Then apply a black gel eyeliner all the way across the lid. Then, with a flat liner brush, apply a black-brown shadow, layering it on top of the liner on the upper lid and slightly smudged. Then, line the lower lash line with whatever is left on the brush and finished with black mascara. For an extra glow, add a little sparkle to eyes with a shimmery bronzy brown shadow, placing the sparkle shadow in the inner corner of eye and lid.
MARCHESA
BRIGHT EYES…BOBBI-FIED
To complement this season’s designs, the makeup look is youthful and modern, with softly defined eyes with white winged eyeliner. To take this look from runway to every day, apply a cream shadow in a vanilla or warm cream shade using an ultra-fine eyeliner brush , from the outer corner all the way across the upper lash line. Then draw a line from the inner corner across the upper lash line. To create the wing, continue the line on the upper lid so it goes up and out past the outer corner of the eye. The end of the wing should taper to a soft point. For a fashion-forward look, dust white eye shadow over lines.
