On a pre-order basis, Christian Louboutin is selling the magical shoes he designed with actress Angelina Jolie for her Maleficent promotional tour.
Angelina Jolie wore a custom shoes in Shanghai while promoting Maleficent.
When Angelina Jolie was promoting her Disney film Maleficent earlier this year, all eyes were firmly on her fabulous footwear.
The patent, court-like shoes with mesh panels and a sculpted heel made to look like tendrils of smoke, were quickly claimed to be by that French shoe-maker of red-sole fame, Christian Louboutin. Jolie debuted a pair in black, then came white and gold versions as the promotional tour rolled on – each hand-made in Monsieur Louboutin‘s Paris atelier.
And now the good news is that you don’t have to be a cloak-wearing villain to own a pair.
Christian Louboutin today revealed that the shoes, called Malangeli, were created in collaboration between the designer and the 39-year-old actress and will be sold on a made-to-order basis.
