By Jado Arly ( @JadoArly ).
The look I created for Marriam highlights some of her favorite features, the eyes and cheeks. Of course melons with hints of pink is the color story of the season, and is just prime for Arabian Woman Magazine summer 2014 magazine
cover.
To make this occasion even more special, I pulled out some of my favorite vintage MAC products; Cotton Candy Paints on the lids created the wear needed with a luster that performs amazingly in studio lights,
without looking too flashy.
The socket was a blend of Folie Eye Shadow and Melton Mauve, diffused with brush #217, all MAC Cosmetics.
For additional eye definition, Dipdown Fluidline was used lightly – it is a balanced brown, a suitable
replacement to black at occasions when black feels too harsh.
Skin was perfected using Studio Stick Foundation, one of my treasures in my makeup kit, and Studio Finish Concealer was used where more coverage needed. And to hug the skin I used Invisible Powder
Loose on the T-Zone only.
Cheeks were tickled with one of my favorite products I got my hands on recently while I was in Los
Angeles few weeks ago. It is a ‘yet to launch’ Proenza Schouler ombre blush, the perfect melon/bronze for
2014’s summer.
Finally lips were kept naturally plush with a few dabs of Sandy B and Crosswire Lipsticks, also from MAC Cosmetics.
