On the nights of November 13th and 14th, the world witnessed the SuperMoon, a rare phenomenon that occurs when a Full Moon or a New Moon coincides with the Moon’s closest approach to Earth. A super full Moon looks around 12% to 14% bigger and brighter. This is the closest a Full Moon has been to Earth since January 26, 1948.
