Gucci

Gucci kicked off Milan fashion week with bright colors, gorgeous floral and snake prints, its outfits were playful with a romantic feel. Some retro, some ruffles, conservative yet sexy, dreamy outfits, feminine in every sense – I loved Gucci’s runway! It was the perfect collection. Brava Frida Giannini! And for those middle eastern fashionistas who love to be stylish yet stay conservative, this collection had just the right styles for you!

Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti’s romantic runway was inspired by water. The looks had a mix of layered organza over fringed, beaded dresses in shades of seafoam. And pure as water it was with its models moving across the runway like beautiful mermaids.

Emporio Armani

Emporio Armani started off looking like a safari theme then came the sexy cuts with draped & layered dresses, loved their jackets & blazers , but I wasn’t a fan of those shoes that looked like bees towards the end.

Prada

Prada’s Japanese inspired runway was the expression of an impossible dream said Miuccia Prada. Models walked the runway in either towering Harajuku girl platforms or leather judo socks bound with patent leather bows – I say not an impossible dream, just impossible.

Versace

Loved how Versace did rock sexy, the Italian way of doing hippy, ending with tie-dye-like prints done up in fringe siren dresses with a glamorous bohemia.

Dolce&Gabbana

Noone does it like Dolce & Gabbana! Their collections are unique, glamorous, stunning, intelligent, full of life, and always tell a Sicilian story. Their spring summer 2013 runway was inspired by the most profound Sicilian Tradition, their prints stood out (as always), and the details were just impeccable. And of course no DG runway is complete without the signature sexy sheer & lace black dresses! Bellissima.

Fendi

Fendi’s runway was sporty chic, with mix of color blocked fur & leather that ended with some disco ball dresses. But it was the details that were brilliant. A long shirt dress and a leather coat with an upside down F for Fendi were my favourite looks!

Bottega Veneta

Bottega Veneta made us wish we could live in the forties again with pretty cotton dresses in florals , cinched waists and subtly strong shoulders, paired with ankle strap heels that you could just picture yourself having tea in by the garden..and when nightfall came, you would just want slip into one of those sexy fringe dresses to party the night away!

Emilio Pucci

Peter Dundas proved that a military look can be as sexy and sultry! With beautiful embroidered looks and his signature prints, Emilio Pucci’s runway was sheer genius!

Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani ‘s collection was called Kaleidoscope. He used a cool palette of icy blues and grays that he worked on both loosely-tailored suits and graphic tunics and dresses in watery prints & went to space for the finale. His dresses over pants seemed a bit out of tune (He used the same idea a few seasons ago too). But I don’t know what was worse: the constellation dress in the end or those lids on top of the models’ heads!

Salvatore Ferragamo

Salvatore Ferragamo was Massimiliano Giornetti’s fabulousness as always, had a modern rocker theme, strong sexy looks, some glam moments, loved his coats!

Gianfranco Ferre

Gianfranco Ferre’s runway was all about minimal chicness with the looks mostly in black and white with some iconic ones such as the statement wide bandeau above a high-waisted, split-hem long skirt which was sexy in a tough way. Definitely one of my best runways on the last day of MFW!
