Saudi Arabia BoConcept franchisee Al-Bonian Trading and Contract Establishment has opened its second shop in the Kingdom with the new BoConcept Brand store in Jeddah. The first one was set up in Alkhobar on July 26, 2009, but it wasn’t until Wednesday, Nov. 4th, that Jeddah had its very own BoConcept Brand store. Located conveniently on Rawdah Street, BoConcept joins a row of chic furniture boutiques, yet stands apart because of its contemporary urban attitude.
The Danish brand is the most global retail furniture chain with a presence in over 50 countries. With more than 250 BoConcept Brand stores and 100 studios, BoConcept offers affordable design furniture and accessories with an urban edge. “Our mission is to make modern design furniture available to the urban-minded shopper,” states Brand Manager, Hamza Modir. BoConcept also provides customized and coordinated pieces to ensure that customers get exactly what they are looking for. The brand boasts the fact that it is also a design company with its very own team of designers, therefore making their products not only unique but also exclusive.
At the moment, BoConcept is offering local designers a chance at global fame through their “Design a cool cup” competition, which invites people to create a design either directly on their website or to create one and then submit it. The BoConcept website is a great source of decorating ideas and tips and offers an interactive experience for either customers or people merely in search of inspiration.
BoConcept can also be praised for bringing along with it an innovative concept that will hopefully catch on — and that is the idea of social and environmental responsibility. BoConcept’s social commitment is displayed through its participation in the Global Compact which ensures employment and partnership with companies that share the same standards regarding human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
BoConcept is environmentally conscious with its unwavering aim of manufacturing products with as little impact on the environment as possible. It strives continuously to make environmental improvements in the manufacturing of its products — such as using UV-based lacquers, packaging made of recycled cardboard, and high-quality materials that need minimal processing and thus reduce energy consumption in the production process. BoConcept is not only environmentally friendly but also customer friendly. It features a team of skilled design consultants who are passionate about furniture and urban design and who possess the product knowledge to allow them to assist customers in making the best choices for their homes.
