The British Embassy in Kuwait held their first ever “Great British Week” in Kuwait — a celebration that shed light on all that is British and most importantly the close historical alliance between the UK and Kuwait. The Great British Week’s innovative campaign, which is held last March 20, 2014 and ended today, April 3, 2014, featured Great Britain in Kuwait and is supported by well known personalities and sponsors. The GREAT British Week lecture series is hosted by former British Prime Minister Sir John Major at Kuwait University and discussed on the past, present and future of UK-Kuwait ties.
Internationally renowned fashion designer Maria Grachvogel ( @MariaGrachvogel ) showcased exclusive couture pieces from her latest collection at the Avenues Prestige Ballroom last Wednesday March 19th. The event, in collaboration with Harvey Nichols Kuwait (@harveynicholskuwait/Instagram), was an instant success. Maria Grachvogel’s Spring-Summer 2014 Collection was a hue of pastels, nude browns and creamy whites with breezy silhouettes.
