Couture Week may have come to an end but we still can’t get over our eventful week…We’re still day dreaming of our new WishLust, the street style that gave us major closet envy and the after-party that had the best theme! But what our mind still can’t process is Paris freezing weather..brrr
Take a look below at our favorite moments from Paris Haute Couture week:
Best Front Row:
From Anna Wintour to Olivia Palermo, Giambattista Valli had the best front row we’ve seen but one can’t deny how stunning Diane Kruger looked at the Dior show so of course she’s on top of our list! And can we please discuss that 90’s chocker paired with this fitted Couture Dress?! Just stunning…
Best Model Appearance: Alessandra Ambrosio
Ralph and Russo gave us the best couture surprise when our favorite angel, Alessandra Ambrosio closed their show in this dramatic bridal gown. We all wanted to bring that cape home!
Best Fashion Party: Dior Bal Masqué
We all love a good party, especially when it involves a masquerade theme. Dior made us believe in Unicorns, gave us yet another reason to dress up and truly be part of the fashion crowd. Is is too early to claim it the best party of the year?!
Best Collection: Schiaparelli
The Italian house is an expert when it comes to mixing surrealist art with haute couture fashion. From faces to shapes as prints Schiaparelli remained true to their DNA, while keeping it minimalist. But the real reason for it being our favorite show of the season is because they brought capes back!
Best Presentation: Versace
Atelier Versace made headlines when they announced they wouldn’t participate in Couture Week this season, but of course they couldn’t be completely absent. Set in their boutique in the famous Avenue Montaigne, Versace presented a very refined collection inspired by the mythological animal, Kimera.
Best Street Style:
Besides attending shows and seeing the latest fashion designers come up with, our second favorite part of fashion week is of course the street style. It’s where the trends truly come alive! From Chiara Ferragni making her feminist statement, to Deena wearing in all-velvet outfit, PFW did not disappoint.
